Here are some of the pictures of the library's new look.
This is the new fiction/large print section. One of the things we changed was to pull the genres out from the regular fiction/large print: mystery, romance, and science fiction/ fantasy.
This is another angle. The stripes on the floor show where the shelves used to be.
This is where the audio books are shelved.
This is part of the nonfiction- the shelves have been rearranged to create more seating.
This is the other side of the bookcase in the picture above this- making two separate alcoves.
This is the new Young Adult space, more defined with its own seating.
Another view of the YA area.
More of the adult nonfiction.
A display full of DVDs, the computers are pulled away from the walls behind them because they've just been painted. The view behind is the rearranged children's area.
This gives a closer look at the painted pillars.
And a closer look at the new children's area, more space to move about, or to sit and read.
One last look at the children's area.

Wow! How pretty! And engaging! I wish that was MY library!
Thanks, we're pleased with how it turned out.
I would love to sit down in a comfy spot and read there! I know the monsters would too.
Feel free to stop by anytime. :)
Some of the pictures make the place looks like it has a glowy aura, which I feel is appropriate for a shiny new space. :)
Looks nice!!
Thanks, and this is just to hold us over until the big changes come. :)
